The Practice Electrical Readiness Assessment course lets aspiring apprentices undertake online self assessment quizzes (one for literacy and one for numeracy), which reflect the standard expected for entering an electrical apprenticeship.
For those who need, there are also online tutorial resources to refresh your knowledge of the numeracy topics covered.
The course (which includes both assessments you can sit as many times as you’d like and the tutorial resources) is available for $20. You will need to create a login for the Energy Space Learning Management system.
A step by step guide to creating an account is provided below:
FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT AND ACCESS THE PRACTICE ELECTRICAL RA:
You will need to create an account in the Energy Space Learning Portal.
Please select ‘Learning Portal’ from the LOGIN menu on the top right of the screen.
You will then be directed to the Learning Portal (LMS) log in page. Where you will need to click on ‘Create New Account’
Complete all the fields on the form then press ‘Create My New Account’.
You will be sent an email containing a link to complete your registration.
Click on the web address contained in the email to verify your account. You will then be logged onto you LMS account and have access to the courses menu.
NOTE: Make a note of your username and password so you can access your account at a later date.
Using the arrows to expand the menu, select the Practice Readiness Assessment, you will then be provided a brief description of the course.
To access the course then press the ‘send payment via pay pal’ to make the payment and the course and associated tutorials will be available.
